Another sad letter to the editor bemoaning the expansion (restoration, really) of our rights.
I do not own a gun and have no desire to own a gun. Fifty-seven years ago, before it became unfashionable to serve in our military services, I volunteered for the draft. During basic training, the U.S. Army taught me about guns.
I feel I know enough about guns and their users to feel less safe now than I did before the law passed.
Let me translate for you all. “I was in the Army! I know guns! All you kids, get offa my lawn!”
And when Wisconsin residents start carrying concealed handguns in large numbers we all know how much crime and mayhem it will cause.
