Via “Crime in Charlotte” blog we have this clown getting not quite enough prison time for forcible rape.
On October 26, 2011, Jarrod Willis, 30, was convicted of first-degree rape, first-degree sex offense, first-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
84 years for a 30 year old makes him a week past dead before he can get out. While I am disgusted with the Supreme Court for having struck down the death penalty for rapists, I think that this sentence is almost harsh enough.
Once again we see that heinous crimes are generally the province of career criminals. It takes a certain mindset to allow a person to treat another person like this. You don’t just wake up one day and say, “hey, I should go out and rape someone today,” any more than murders happen on a whim.
This is why I think that we should be very suspicious of those who claim that you and I are just one fender bender away from a road rage murder. Projection, I call it.
