Wake Concealed Handgun Permit Applications triple

Applications for gun permits in Wake County nearly tripled in the last six weeks over the same time period last year, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

This is a great thing. Once people start carrying a gun they start to realize how stupid some of our gun laws are. Then they get mad and demand that they be changed.

The last numbers I saw for total active Concealed Handgun Permits in North Carolina was 300,000. That includes about 22,000 in Wake County alone.
