I don’t think that’s called “carjacking”

Two hundred and sixty-two months is a long time. It’s 21 years and 10 months. But for this he deserves it.

(Suspect), 50, was convicted of walking into the victim’s workplace, pulling a handgun and forcing her out to her car where they drove off.

The headline makes it out like he was convicted of “Carjacking.” That’s actually First Degree Kidnapping.

Suspect

It looks like he has a long history of contempt for the law. Plus he has bad taste in guns.

The weapon recovered was a Lorcin .380 semi-automatic pistol.

I’d have tacked on another 2 months just for that.

  1. A Lorcin? I would have made him shoot it. Eye full of slide cures a lot of stupid.

  2. Yep. 25 years in prison, or 20 plus you have to shoot 100 rounds of .380 self defense ammo from your Lorcin without eye protection.

  3. OH man, if she’d know that, she could have just run and been safe…

  4. Inexperience, youth, and poverty can lead to such wrong purchases as a Lorcin. Not a single pawn shop will take ours. I think I’ve accepted it as a conversation piece. “You normally don’t see one of these except for at crime scenes…”
