Trooper pulls over law abiding citizen, gets shot?

The gun grabbers were anticipating making a lot of hay with this one. A State Highway Patrol officer was shot during a “routine” stop in Durham. One can almost picture the glee with which the gun grabbers sat by their televisions, hoping that finally they would have a Concealed Handgun Permit holder to abuse. Imagine their disappointment when the news reported this.

(Suspect), the man charged with shooting a state trooper four times during a routine traffic stop Monday, had assembled a lengthy criminal record by the time he turned 21, with state and federal convictions for robbery, burglary, assault and stealing dynamite in Vermont.

He’s 23 years old! How did he have time to get into so much trouble?

The Trooper should make a full recovery. Let’s hope that we put this suspect away for a very long time.
