How terribly unfortunate. The list of states we WILL NOT ship to is growing. We understand the anger some feel… we hear it on the phone at least weekly. We will however not write new policy’s for that and we do not have the resources to look into the various compliance issues. So those residing in those states, vote freedom. We hope you have been, however it appears your elected leaders aren’t hearing or caring.

We are not turning our backs on you… simply put, your state officials have excluded us.

When Serbu posted their email exchange with NYPD Firearms and Tactics division, they gave teeth to the growing New York Boycott. It was the first time that we had concrete proof that a boycotting company had refused an actual firearm transfer to the NYPD.

Today I was interviewed by Vasily Sushko of Voice of Russia, along with Mark Serbu himself.

To address our post from yesterday, MGI has not sold rifles to the government of California. In the past, we have sold accessories to law enforcement departments in California. We have sold firearms to the citizens of California for several years and will continue to do so within the limits of the law. It is the policy of MGI to not provide weapons to governments that do not permit their citizens to possess the same types of weapons.

The firearms industry from top to bottom completely terminate sales of a firearms and ammunition to all of NY State, citizens to Government to include the Federal Government offices in NY State till the State of NY recognizes the US Constitution and its own State Constitution starting on 12 February 2013.

Yes, I got the message and tried to return the call but got no answer. I appreciate your interest in our BFG-50A; I’m sure it would be an excellent addition to your department’s arsenal. Unfortunately, we have a policy of selling to state law enforcement agencies only what is allowed to be sold to private citizens in that state. Since the passage of the NY SAFE act, the BFG-50A is considered an assault weapon and as such is no longer available to private citizens in the state of New York. Therefore we have to respectfully decline to supply your department with BFG-50A rifles.

I will be speaking with Larry Keane of NSSF to find out more. I will make some points with him. First, anything that gun owners view as a sellout will destroy the companies involved. Second, if the NSSF looks like they are engineering a sellout, it will destroy the NSSF as a brand forever.
