According to Colin Goddard, college students are too immature to carry firearms.
The victim, a 23-year-old student at Georgia Tech who had just completed his associate’s degree, had a firearms license and had a gun with him, said the friend.
Two men reportedly approached the victim around 8 p.m. in what appeared to be an attempted car-jacking. There was a struggle, and the victim received cuts on his chin and arms and one of the robbers was shot in the struggle, reportedly in the head.
The reason that the gun grabbers don’t want college students to have guns is that robbers like this might get ventilated in parking lots if they did. And that would be bad.
The would-be robber shot and killed on Saturday had rotated in and out of Rockdale County jail for nearly a decade on charges ranging from simple battery to possession and selling of drugs.
Sounds like he was a fine upstanding citizen. Luckily for our hero he had a gun to equal the odds against him.
