Police say an early morning shooting in southwest Charlotte was the result of an argument about money from a card game.

Arrest records show police have arrested (suspect), of Charlotte, multiple times. Many of the charges were dismissed, according to court records, but he was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of a weapon on school property in 2007.
In December, he was charged with resisting an officer, and in March, he was charged with drug possession and resisting an officer. Those charges are pending.
