Guns are banned on all “Educational Properties*” here in North Carolina. That includes colleges and universities. So will someone please explain how this happened.
Police at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte issued a campus-wide alert after a student was robbed at gunpoint outside a sorority house.
The victim didn’t give up without a fight.
The student told police she struggled with the suspect and may have stabbed him in the side or chest with a pocketknife before the man ran off.
Good for her. What I want to know is, what possessed the thief to walk past all those No Guns signs? I mean, doesn’t he know that’s a crime?
