Domestic violence with a pellet gun

Another terrible domestic situation made worse by a gun?
I don’t know the rules in this state about whether or not a pellet gun is considered a firearm for the purposes of a felon in possession. I also don’t know if he had another, real, gun when the cops picked him up.

What I do know is that a person who violated the law in the past is far more likely to violate it in the future. The problem in this situation was not the presence of a pellet gun; it was the presence of a felon. The gun grabbers like to use domestic violence statistics to try to prove that normal everyday gun owners are likely to harm their spouses. What they forget is that even felons have girlfriends.
