It’s Gun Violence™ against a cop this time. But despite reality, you can expect that the gun grabbers will pretend that it’s our fault as gun owners that this happened.
A man running from police after a suspected home invasion early Wednesday was wounded in an exchange of gunfire with an officer in a northwest Charlotte neighborhood, police said.
He shot at the cop, the cop shot twice, hit twice, and captured the fleeing suspect. Nice shooting, that.
I can’t find Suspect 4 in the database, but the story makes clear that he was not an innocent babe caught with the wrong crowd.
Police said some of the suspects are part of a group that’s been involved in criminal activity for years.
(Suspect 1)’s criminal record dates back to 2007, when he was 16 years old. He’s faced dozens of charges, but many have been dismissed. He has been convicted of felony larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, drug possession and giving fictitious information to an officer, records show.
He was placed on probation for the motor vehicle larceny conviction, but his probation was later revoked and he was sent to prison for about two months in 2010.
(Suspect 1) is currently on unsupervised probation as a result of a conviction earlier this year for possessing drug paraphernalia, according to court records.
(Suspect 3), a felon, has been convicted of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and breaking and entering a vehicle.
(Suspect 2) has been convicted of misdemeanor breaking and entering and larceny. (Suspect 4) has been convicted of disorderly conduct and marijuana possession, both misdemeanors.
Carriker said some of the suspects have participated in crimes as a group and individually, and some are identified as members or associates of a gang in the area.
Long time criminals, apparently except for the 17 year old female, who might be a juvenile criminal, with sealed records.
Another suspect detained at the scene, (Suspect 5), 17, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Her child was inside a nearby car, according to reports.
Nice job, mommy!
They’ve been through the system before, and not dealt with at the time. Maybe they will get what they deserve this time.
I can dream, can’t I?
