He didn’t even make it off parole

No details about why this happened yet.

A Fayetteville police officer shot and killed a man during a traffic stop this morning off Morganton Road in the Haymount neighborhood.

But they have released his name.

He spent 4 years and 4 months in prison for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, plus burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He only got paroled in August of last year. His parole should have lasted until May. He’s even been arrested this year.

(Suspect) was arrested Jan. 18 after being served with warrants on four misdemeanor charges, including assault on a female, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, injury to property and vandalism, MacRoberts said.

I don’t think anyone will miss him.
