Sometimes you try to rob the wrong house

You’d think that an armed gang breaking into a house at almost midnight would be reasonably safe. They have numbers to back up the guns they’ve all brought. Sometimes that doesn’t work out.

Officers were called to a home invasion-shooting at 11:53 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Melbourne Street in eastern Durham, off Wake Forest Highway. They found a man identified as (Suspect 1), 25, of West Club Boulevard lying in the street. (Suspect 1) had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene, Durham police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.

Police were told that “several males” with guns broke into a house in the 400 block of Melbourne Street. (Suspect 1) was shot during the home invasion, and a resident of the house was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Michael said.

So he brought some friends and tried to knock over a house, getting shot dead for his troubles.

Suspect

He’s still on Post Release Supervision after spending almost 9 years in prison!

  1. Of course you only need X rounds and should have called the cops, hid in a closet and p!ssed your self before surrendering and letting them kill you.

  2. Limited magazines may work for one robber. What about multiple aggressors? No one ever talks about that! Feel free to limit your rights, Washington, not mine.
