I just made Joan Peterson cry

Long time readers of this blog will remember that I started blogging as a response to Joan Peterson at CommonGunsense.com (no link for her) censoring her comments. Mostly I’ve gotten away from reading or even thinking of her. It’s better for my sanity not to be exposed to her. But today I spent $15.75 just to make her cry.

I just renewed my Utah CFP

So how does renewing my Utah CFP make Joan Peterson cry?

This is my North Carolina CHP reciprocity map.

NCCHP

And here’s the same map with a Utah Non Resident CFP added.

NCCHPplusUtah
Will you look at that! For the princely sum of $15.75, I will may carry a concealed handgun in the state of Minnesota at any time in the next 5 years! And I didn’t even have to get out of my desk chair to do it because Utah makes it an easy online process to renew!

And now you know how $15.75 well spent can make a gun grabber cry for five whole years. For those who want me to actually travel to Minnesota, hit up my PayPal with some travel money and I’ll be more than happy to visit.

You can make your own reciprocity maps HERE.

  1. Hi Sean, I know exactly how you feel in regards to the blogger you refer to. I myself will have to look into doing something like that if for nothing else but to have reciprocity in all the states that border Minnesota.
For some reason, I couldn’t comment under my Facebook ID.

I read BSC* Joans blog all the time. It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it. I don’t bother submitting any comments. I’ve been banned by the Collectivists Supporting Government Violence and some demanding mommies so being rejected by her is no big deal. It seems like for the past year her kick has been “law abiding until they aren’t” shtick. And of course the “evil NRA” crap. I rarely make reference to her Brady crap, mostly for my own amusement

    *Bat Shit Crazy.

How difficult is it to get a non-resident Utah CHP to begin with?

  4. The only difference I saw between Florida and Utah I saw was that Utah demanded that I take a Utah specific training class. Download the packet, fill out the forms, submit them with money, a police admknistered fingerprint card, and the Utah training course certificate and wait.

    Easy.

    Erin,
Here in Iowa, most instructors that teach the Iowa class also teach the Utah class. Usually at the same time. The only real difference is that Utah requires a live fire portion and Iowa doesn’t. Check with the instructors in your AO.

  6. Remember, Liberal Tears make great gun lube!
