At what point do we give up on someone?

We hear a lot about prison overcrowding and how we need to reduce our prison population.

Police found a man stabbed to death early Monday in the 1000 block of North Miami Boulevard and were looking for suspects in the homicide, they said.

But we never hear about all the terrible people who are free to roam the streets.


Have you noticed that very frequently the victims are criminals too?

Getting an early start in crime

He stole it, ran from the cops, and ended up crashing.

A robbery suspect was arrested Tuesday after wrecking the stolen vehicle while attempting to exit to South Tryon Street from I-77.

No one ever cares about the victims.


But I can guarantee you that someone is complaining that this poor misunderstood youth shouldn’t be thrown in jail for his crimes.

Robbers got to rob

It’s not so much random crime as it is a lifestyle choice.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested and charged a man and a woman in a several University City area robberies that happened on Jan. 7, Jan. 17, and Jan. 20. A tip to Crime Stoppers about the vehicle driven by the suspects lead to the arrests.

It seems they made their living this way.
