At first I wanted to make a joke
Bollywood is known for singing and dancing movies, so I wondered how they will handle this one.
But the more I thought about it, the less I felt it was appropriate to make stupid wisecracks.
I will certainly be watching this.
In the meantime, those that want to watch an interesting movie about terrorism should catch this on Netflix
Instant or DVD.

Oh NOES! Machine GUNZ!! And they ADVERTISE!!!
In what looks like either an epic troll, or the best possible outcome of a publicity campaign, Machine Gun Vegas has convinced the local anti-gun industry in (Formerly Great) Britain to spaz out over their advertising a chance to shoot machine guns on their Las Vegas shooting range.
Machine Gun Vegas is “targeting” the rights deprived Brits in exactly the same way that McDonalds is “targeting” hungry people. Those dastardly businessmen! Who are they to allow people to do something legal and charge for the privilege?
And they evilly used the story of a criminal thrown in jail for owning a machine gun in (Formerly Great) Britain as a way to advertise!
True. It would have cost him less, both in money and in time! I think that this is the perfect sort of advertising. “hey, don’t break the law, bring some cash and your passport and we’ll show you how to do it right and legally!”
So, is the British government in the habit of handing out passports to criminals?
Here’s what’s really going on. They anti-gunners know that guns are fun. They know that if the ordinary Brit gets used to guns, he’ll stop being afraid of them and start asking why his ancestors could own them, but he can’t. He’ll start openly asking his friends and neighbors why it is that he, a law abiding person, is banned from having guns on the grounds of “public safety,” but that same gun control fails to stop the criminals from having all the guns they want.
We all know what happens when people start asking logical questions about gun control. Nothing good for the gun controllers.
And the whole time that this “controversy” is going on, Machine Gun Vegas is laughing all the way to the bank. The idiots in the UK press are giving them tons of free press to advertise their perfectly legal services, encouraging thousands to come who would have never heard of the opportunity otherwise.
Hey (Formerly Great) Britain! YHBT YHL FOAD

Anti-Gunners in (Formerly Great) Britain lie just as much as ours do
Everyone loves a victim it seems. We pretend that the mere fact that a person can claim victim status means that they are immune to criticism. It’s not surprising that some are happy to pretend to be victims when they are not. That holds true in England as well. (Video at link)
You know, as bad as The Alchemist Colin Goddard is, at least he is an actual victim, and not an “Associate Victim.” At least he has actual scars to show for his victimhood. This woman claims victim status by claiming family and friends were murdered.
It’s time that we understand that “victims,” whether real or imagined, do not have special status in a policy argument. The same standards of evidence apply to both sides of the argument. Of course, in the gun rights argument, that means that the anti-gun side will get crushed like bugs. They have no evidence that their proposals will achieve anything positive. So I can see why they lie about their victim status just as much as they lie about their “evidence.”

Former left wing guerrilla bans guns in Bogotá
Figure the odds. Some clown who was a member of the Columbian terror group M-19 has decided to ban guns in Bogata, Columbia.
It’s always the same story. Ban the law abiding from carrying guns in a vain attempt to stop the criminals from committing crimes. Two of the major anti-gun fallacies are there. First, the “you are so stupid that the criminal will just take it away from you” argument, and then the “You hotheads need me to take your guns away before you hurt someone” gambit. The only thing that makes it unusual is the fact that the politician pushing it was himself an armed criminal once.
Of course, by using his armed police force to violate the people’s natural right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, I think he’s still an armed criminal.
I predict that this “experiment” will be a smashing success. Unless there is something spectacular that messes it up, he will lie and declare victory. And then he will round up the guns.

OMG! Kids! Wif dem EBIL GUNZ!
You need to listen to this BBC interview about children getting firearms licenses in the UK. The argument goes something like this.
“Something MUST be done!!! Kids! With GUNZ! OMG!!!”
“Someone tell this clown to get a grip.”
And it all happens on BBC with a presenter who is sympathetic to the gun rights argument.
While you are at it, read this article on kids in (Formerly Great) Britain and the experience with firearms licensing.
According to the person interviewed on the first link, neither of the two revocations had anything to do with anything the kids did with their firearms.
